    Fierce ii 8000 did it again

    The Fierce and made in USA 4/0 senator reels are my go to reels for catching pelagic fish in Hawaii off my kayak. Caught this 41.2lb yellowfin tuna (Shibi) with the Fierce 8000 reel. Fought fish for about 45 minutes and the reel performed excellent! Thanks PENN

    Very Happy with the Fierce Reel

    I own a Spinfisher, Pursuit and Fierce and the Fierce gives me the smoothest action and furthest casts for surf & jetty fishing. I am very happy with this reel.

    I live here in south texas along the gulf coast, I'm an avid hunter and fisherman. I've used many penn products Penn reels are extremely tough and a good value.

    Sticky

    The reel started getting sticky in its new state. Sometimes it’s sticky. Sometimes it’s grinding. I find myself taking it apart and cleaning it a lot. I’m really not impressed and I don’t know if I’ll buy another Pen reel because of it. I’m only doing freshwater fishing with this thing too. I think my next reel will be Vanford. Sorry Penn but the quality of your reels has depreciated through the years and you are no longer top shelf.
